Yuzu Ramen Near Seoul Station That Actually Tastes Different
Most ramen in Seoul follows a familiar script. Yuzu Fine Ramen (유즈라멘 본점) doesn't. The yuzu-spiked broth is the whole point, and once you try it, you'll understand why people wait an hour for a bowl.
What to Expect
This is Japanese-style ramen, but with a twist that sets it apart from every other ramen spot in Seoul. The base is a chicken and seafood blend — already lighter than your typical tonkotsu — and then they add yuzu extract to finish it. Yuzu is a Japanese citrus fruit, somewhere between a lemon and a grapefruit but more floral and less sharp. The result is a broth that's clean and bright instead of heavy. If you've ever felt like ramen sits in your stomach like a brick, this one won't do that to you.
The chashu pork here is Iberico pork neck, flame-grilled. That's not standard. And both the noodles and broth are free refill — which, at this price point, is genuinely good value.
What to Order
Yuzu Shio Ramen (유즈 시오라멘) — Start here. The salt-based broth is where the yuzu flavor comes through the clearest. It's 12,000 won and the cleanest expression of what this place is doing. This is the one that gets recommended most, and for good reason.
Yuzu Shoyu Ramen (유즈 쇼유라멘) — Soy sauce base, slightly deeper flavor. One thing to note: the pork here comes thinly sliced rather than in a thick chashu cut. Some people prefer it, some don't. Worth trying if you want something a bit more savory.
A word on the spicy version — at least one person has had a rough experience with it. Stick to the shio or shoyu on a first visit.
Atmosphere & Vibe
Small. The kind of place where you can hear the kitchen. It's styled after a Japanese street-food stall — think low lighting, wooden counters, that slightly cramped-but-intentional energy. The saving grace is the split-level layout, which gives it more breathing room than you'd expect from the outside. It's not a place for a long evening — you eat, you slurp, you leave. But the vibe is focused, not rushed.
It was featured on KBS Live Today, which is why the waits are what they are now. The food quality held up after the attention, which isn't always the case.

What People Are Saying
"Came here for some ramen and it was pretty good and you can get a free noodle refill, unfortunately I also believe this was the place that gave me food poisoning. Luckily my wife wasn't affected as she had the regular yuzu ramen and I had the spicy version. So maybe stick to the regular version if you decide to come."
"I finally visited this ramen place I had been wanting to try. As a ramen lover, I really enjoyed the unique flavor of yuzu in the broth. I ordered the shoyu ramen, which came with thinly sliced pork (about 0.5mm) instead of the usual thick chashu, and it was very tasty. The noodles and broth were refillable, and while I did get a refill, the taste was a bit lighter compared to the first bowl. Overall, it was a delicious experience."
"I visited during a short break between schedules and found this anguk restaurant to be surprisingly calm. The seating felt comfortable, and the pace of service made it easy to slow down and enjoy the meal. The yuzu ramen had a clear broth with a gentle citrus note that stayed balanced until the end. Although the name may remind some people of korean bbq, the overall experience here feels more focused on simplicity and care. A place I’d return to when I want something light but satisfying."
